i need to figure out how to hit my pa2500d hard

Yea i have a pa2500d and its got a

pa 1 farad cap and 2 spl 12" 2200

watt max. For some reason it aint hitting hard,

as my audiobahn 1300hcq did before it. Any

one know why, give me some good advice.

Maybe it has less watts because power akoustik is overrated.

I believe he means Planet Audio 2500D...Check your wiring, make sure the amp is getting sufficient current and is wired to a 1 ohm load, also make sure your gains are set right.

Set the gains right, use a good enclosure, properly wired(adequate awg.), fused.

mine doesnt hit at all either. hmmm... ive had bad luck with PA

alright ill check my wiring again, but what i didnt mention, which could have something to do with it, my 4 chnl amp is hooked up to the "front" plugs in the back of my receiver and my pa2500d plugged into my "s-w out",neways my 4 chnl amp is getting bass and its set on high pass and no bass on the 4 chnl amp's equlizers, but still bass is comming thro... maybe the pa2500d is sharing the bass with that other output, cutting it in half... any suggetions will indeed help!

I just want to know if you guys are buying these planet audio's off of ebay and if they are refurbished Planets? If so I may want to hold off on buying one that I was shopping for.

I had the last two top Class D models and those amps are freaking awsome. I sold one to my friend and he ran two pioneer 12 subs at 2ohm in a huge sealed box and he made his cd player skip.
