Actually its tuned too low if your looking to use it in your garage like a PA Style speakers. If you want high output tune it higher to get more SPL. PA/DJ speaker are usually tuned around 45 to 50/ hz. If you seal it up your just going to be losing effieciency and SPL. Tuneing low is only for Home theater duty . The relatively "high" tuning of ported enclosures works in-car, but home enclosures (read: for bigger spaces) require much lower tuning to get the output.
