I need suggestions

I have a 96 ford explorer, with 2 jl w3v2 with a 500/1 in there right now, i hit 141, with a HO Wedge box from jl.

Its loud, and gets looks but, its not loud enuf any more for me...

What should i upgrade too?

1 12w7 and a 500/1

2 12w6v2 and a 500/1

2 10w7 and a 500/1

add another 2 10w3v2 and a 500/1

I love the sq, but i want louder bass when i wana crank it up.

other suggestions out side of jl products are more then welcome. jls a lil to expensive for what you get.

wrong. . . like I said upgrade the box your in and you'll get louder without upgrading the amp. . . alot cheaper way and more efficient way to upgrade your loudness. be that it's loudness you are looking for not sq!

Hey man,

Sorry I skipped over your post, but I DO agree with you. I would defintly build a better box & upgrade my electrical system before I made any equipment changes. See how you like it then & go from there.

P.s. I was only recommending another amp, b/c the JL 500/1 is a lil expensive for what it is.

I dont wana buy another 600$ amp, when 400 will get me another 500/1 and all i gota do is buy 2 w6's. Im using the what i feel is a pretty **** good box, its the one jl makes, i would assume this box would be pretty loud?

I want to get alot louder, 2 w6v2,s and another 500 doesnt seembad.

now 2xw6v2s vs 1 12w7? which would work better for sq.
