I need someones help please!!!

I think my fiance wants pioneer 6x9's (model no. TS-A6995) for his car...and since his birthday is right around the corner (this sunday), i want to get him some really good 6x9's. What is your opinion of this speaker? Is it worth the money? if not, can someone tell me a better speaker?

If he WANTS the 6 x 9's, their okay, and Pioneers are better than a lot of other speakers when only ran off of the head units internal amp. I've owned a similar Pioneer 6 x 9 for years. The Infinity Reference 6 x 9's or the Infinity Kappa's would be better though. Most people here don't like 6 x 9's and try and fit 6.5's in their place. But on the sound quality side of the car audio world, people don't use rear speakers. Putting that money into great front speakers and a great amp produces a MUCH better sounding system.

Check out the Infinity Kappa 693.5i model 6x9 speakers if you want good sound quality. They are by far the best 6x9 speakers for the buck!

hey i got those pioneer 6x9's running of a PPI 2120 amp and it sounds really great...very clear and loud

its a good buy imo

A friend of mine has a set of cerwin vega 6x9's in the back of his accord and they sound great REALLY , Lots of clean bass and pure sound , I was really impressed and they are running of his head unit and no amp !

hed vega 6x9's used little with 2 yr warranty and boxxes 70 bucks shipped lolol i'll sell ya a set if not those look at the memphis audio 6x9 studio..they are fantastic
