Please post before you pm, let me know if you know someone who can or if you can. I'm not shipping my amps to just anyone. I won't deal with your bullshit so if you don't have refs or aren't reputable please don't ask me to send you my stuff.

I had no problem with these amps for six months, they were just running one day and started smoking. They were run at a little over half gain so I wouldn't blow them but I guess that didn't work.

Edit: Neither will power up.

Same thing happened to me and i just sold mine. I am prettty sure it's an Audiopipe thing. Happens to the best of us lol there great amps for the power and price but i know to many people that have blown them as well as myself. I was demoing one day and mine just started smoking and it turns out half the board was fried lol but yeah its a "pipe" thing

I love the amps for the price, and they put out good power if you have the electrical. They were perfectly fine then one day just blew...I don't understand because my voltage never dropped or anything was just driving down the road and my car filled with smoke.

Are they great amps for the price now? I'll never understand why people waste their money on amps like these. Just cut your loses, sell these and save some money to get some decent amps. I've been in this game for over 15 years and I've not once had an amp blow. Amps are like everything else in this world, you get what you pay for..

Were talking power wise, there good for the money. And yes you do get what you pay for, but some of us are 17 and still in high school in the car audio game and don't always have 900 dollars for let's say a sundown 4500d like myself lol The point is it's not your own fault for blowing your apipe when the same problem happens to everyone else, they just burn up. Maybe that is why there so 'cheap' who knows but for now I'm saving my money.

Your age and income level have nothing to do with it. What I'm saying is why buy an amp that will last maybe 6 months for $350 when you can buy a quality amp that will last for years. This is the perfect example. Let's say the OP paid $500 for his two Audiopipes. Now that they are blown he's going to spend at least $200-$300 getting them fixed. So that's $700-$800 he's got invested and who's to say they won't blow again. For that same $800 he could have got a bad *** amp or couple amps that's quality and built to last not to mention at least do rated power. I understand for younger guys cost is a big issue but to me buying an amp like these is just asking for trouble. Just my two cents though..
