I just got back from the audio shop and was told the 800.4 I just got back in hopes of installing it in my Honda won't cut the mustard! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Here is how it goes.... I want to have 200W going to all four speakers in my Honda. Currently I have the 550.2 supplying power to all four which is basically 140W to each. I thought their was a way to install the 800.4 in the 550's place and get me to the 200W I am looking to get. I was told today their is no way possible unless I add another set of speakers giving me 6! He said their is no way to wire it and get 2 Ohm loads to the four so I am up against it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
The other part of this is I had planned on using the 550.2 to drive the DLS Iridium 6.2's in my truck at 175W per side after taking it out of the Honda. This would be perfect but now that the 800.4 can't cut it I can't do the swap. I was looking at getting a fifth Kicker amp for the car and the only one that may fit the bill of 200W to each side is a 850.2. Is that the one for me if I have to buy another? I don't want to end up with six amps!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
