ok i got 2 jl 12inch w7s and a jl 1000\1 amp and it wont push my lights dim real bad and my system shuts off after like 5 seconds i got my alternator and battery checked and they are good what do i do?...............help man i wanna bump now

You are probably clipping the hell out of the amp, causing some major drain and strain on your electrical system.

1000w should be fine on most stock electrical systems, set your gain correctly and do the Big Three. If the problem presists and you are sure clipping isnt the culprit then get a high output alternator.

well i got my w7s cheap and my amp and my pioneer deck my subs were 300 and the amp was 300 and my deck wus 50 so it wus koo i went to one of those police auctions and got my burban with it too i paid 3000 for it on 22inch wheels and 100,000 miles on it so i got an all out good deal but other than that what else can i do like get a capacitor?........or sumthin?

go to your local shop and ask them....its easier than doing the Big 3 which is 1/0 wire optima and h/o alt(I think...someone tell me if im wrong lol)....its not worth the money

I have a 600.2 sub amp and a 1000watt max power amp for my speakers and the headlights dim a little but it never shuts off....check your fuse in the power wire for your amp....is it going bad? also did you mount the fuse less than 18 inches away from the battery where you connected it
