I need some schooling real quick can you help?

i am thinking of hooking up a Phoenix Gold Xenon X200.4 Amplifier

its rated 270x4 at 4 ohm now i have 4 4 ohm speakers, now i have always heard that if you have 4 ohm subs they break down into 2 with the amp. but the amp is 4ohm so will it just play 270 at 4 instead of breakin down into 2ohm?

It all depends on how you wire it.

And is the 270x4 RMS watts or Max watts?

wait, are you asking how you take 4 speakers, wire them to a 4 channel amp and how to keep them at 4 ohm? just wire each speaker to each channel...... it would only change the ohm if you are wiring all of them to the same channel.

then if you know your wiring to 4 then why do you need schooling?

what you wire it to is what its going to be. no magic here.
