I need some info on Us Amps USA-425 and VL-200

I found the specs on the 425 :

Power ratings at 12.5V:

4 x 25W @ 4 ohms

4 x 50W @ 2 ohms

4 x 80W @ 1 ohm

2 x 50W @ 8 ohms bridged

2 x 100W @ 4 ohms bridged

2 x 160W @ 2 ohms bridged

But I'm curious how underrated that is?

And I would love if someone could tell me approximately what the VL-200 does.

Also do you have to use the external crossover with these amps?

VL-200

2 x 100 @ 4 Ohms

2 X 200 @ 2 Ohms

2 X 260 @ 1 Ohm

@ 12 volts. you have to use the crossover or the amp will not put out as much power. My VLX-200 did that to me.

Also the 425 is a baby amp. I'm sure it's under rated but not by much.
