I need some help

ok so im pretty much a newbie to the audio world i have a 1996 jeep cherokee with only front door speakers and it used to be a police car so it has bigger alt. and bat, and i listen to rap, metal, country, everything, and i want a nice sounding system, i will need a deck with aux port, and speakers that sound clean and clear, and a single sub, i dont need to break windows lol, so if you guys have any suggestions let me know, i would like to keep it under $900. thanks

You can get a pretty good setup for 900. What size speakers do you have up front? And since you like everything I would go with one 10".

aol instant messenger. but i just left home so im not on it neway. lol. but yea, look here and on car audio classifieds for a nice set of 2 way 5-1/4. id also find a pair of 6x9 3-ways to putin the back for more clarity and volume. One RD Classic 10" and one of the RD 500.1 would sound good. but thats just my opinion. you have a lot of variety for 900. Also dont forget you will need a Headunit (which is what id use to run the 5-1/4) and buy a small 200watt 2 channel for the 6x9s.

remember $900 worth of equipment may cost $1100 or more after the unforeseen expenses of installing it yourself. You have wire, deadening, connectors, wood, saws, trim kits, tools you may not already have etc.

well i cant really do much that 900, and my aim is grizzlypaugh and i would this is what i was thinking for 750 at a local stereo shop my bro works at lol, A kenwood KDC-X493, and Alpine type S 5-1/4'', and dual Rockford P2L-X10 in the Rockford box, and Rockford P300-1. or 700 for a single sub.

The above sounds good. lol. Id go with that and keep the other 10. If you could, get an amp that puts out a little more power. What ohm is the subs?
