90% of the anger in this thread is based around people saying Bob isn't qualified to be a mod based on lack of experience or knowledge. Mods dont dictate the content of this site, all the members do. Someone with an orange name has no more or less say in a thread's topic than anyone else (talking car audio technical info threads here). If an orange name is wrong about hooking up a sub or amp, say so. Where's the problem? This is the exact same flaw in logic used to undermine Worst from day one.
A good core of members with a lot of knowledge will have MUCH more say in the technical content of this site than one random moderator. If you think the content on this site is lacking, spend more effort chipping in to add to the content, and less effort worrying about who has an orange name. Everything else is just mod envy.

That being said, I have not been on the technical boards of this site nearly as much lately. I plan on changing that. How about a few of you knowledgeable guys like misfit, sicaudio, snoopdan, and several others Im forgetting, join me? I only use those names to suggest they are knowledgeable, not to point at fingers at anyone as being the problem.

Ive been on this forum a long time now guys, Ive seen this same crap come and go. Think this is the first discussion where several people disliked a mod, thought they didnt 'deserve' it, or lacked knowledge? Think again. The sky is not falling, ca.com will survive with or with out anyone one of you individually, Id just prefer it survive with you.

I agree with you, I was using his posts to show his immaturity(always jumping to disagreements and ruining threads). Not his lack of knowledge, which is lacking.

However, this makes me think that more knowledgeable mods should run the tech sections and let the other mods run the Dome and/or classifieds. This is what we do on other forums and it seems to work very well. Like BOB that is being discussed. The dome would be fine for him. Anything else, meh..I wouldn't think so.

With that being said, the other issue I have with bob is his persistent posts about being a mod. He boasts way to much claiming as if it has been already done, and then threatening people with his potential, not yet owned, power.

I'm not longer going to post about BOB being a mod, if it happens it happens. And again you are right, ca.com will go on and many more mods will come and go in the future.
