I wouldn't go so far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. Audio knowledge does apply to some moderation of the non-classifieds/Dome section. But I don't see any reason why one would need to know any more than you do to properly moderate this forum.
I dont mind the bickering when im arguing with an intelligent person that makes me think to the point where if i dont know i have to look it up. you learn that way. not what its been on here lately just childish arguments that there is nothing of merit being said
He does know a thing or two, and has a passion for car audio. I think thats all the audio he needs to be respected for that aspect as a moderator.
I know how to change the oil, how many doors are on a jeep, and am passionate about Jeeps. Does that qualify me to be a mod on his Jeepforum? I think not... Nor would the rest of his Jeepforum.... He doesn't know nearly enough as a mod. And at that, I think a mod should at the very least be liked by the members. As it's already been stated, if another worst mod happens, it's only going to get much, much worse here...
it wont happen.. allt hese arguments back and forth.. he might know enough he might not.. but just the bad publicity whether right or wrong is too lopsided (not in his favor) for it to happen. I think we have had enough posts about theis subject.
