I need some clarification.

I know I dont know nearly as much as some ppl here, but I do have good audio knowledge to be 22. Ive been installing amplifiers & headunits since I was 17 @ a shop, which is highly recognized. I went in one day in high school to get a fuse, the owner saw the job I did installing my gear, & offered me a job. I have limited knowledge on actual gear, but I doubt the ppl bashing me could install or tune amps any better than me. Im also getting pretty good at making fiberglass amp racks.
In some cases I would agree, that some of the people calling you out may not. However, I am saying what I'm posting and not others. I have many friends that can install headunits, amps, speakers, and subs. Do they know much else? Nope. Should they give advice? Nope.

Age means nothing. I was 18 when I opened up my shop in 2000, full retail with 10 employees. I sold out 5 years later in favor of following a marketing career(best choice ever).

You have burned many bridges with your immaturity over the short time you have been here. This is a huge issue with you getting a position power.

I don't remember the last time I was this active on this site. Mainly because I don't have class in the morning and I don't have to work tonight. That hasn't happened in a long time.

Yes, double-b Bobb is dissapoint. Outsideshot23? Why no Outsideshot100???
Look up the Asian father meme if you didn't understand what I just said.

Honestly though, I know you're better than these petty arguments and insults. I have seen your posts before this Sagot mess, I have an impression of your character. You're a good guy who is a little too quick to judge. Knock some juice down on your "break", I'm sure that'll help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif hoping things will change when you come back...
true story.. one bad post and you are judged! lol

Thing is, some of these people who want/deserve to be a mod, have MUCH more knowledge. Hence why you shouldn't and don't deserve to even be brought up as mod.

Step 1: acceptance of wrong-doing

Lol

I am impressed though, I didn't expect you to change face so quickly...but the best thing you can do is learn from your mistakes...don't take anything to heart, think of every insult as if it was sarcasm, and don't let things get too out of hand again. Those 3 things combined will help you become a well valued member of our community.

Not trying to pick a fight, just asking an honest question...

Can you give me a good example of when a Mod would need any more audio knowledge than he has?

Has nothing to do with modding //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I understand what your saying. I'm trying to say this is Caraudio.com, and not the Thunderdome.com. Every mod here has been pretty knowledgeable. This kid has done NOTHING, but lurk the dome' until talks of him becoming a mod came around. Not until then, did I see him outside of the dome. MAYBE once in a while in the classifieds. Thats it. And i'm sure many people can vouch for that....

I really wouldn't want to be a mod.....then Id have to be more serious and quit trolling ...that means less lulz for me....less lulz for the members from my crazy poast , threads and build logs...the forum would loose lots of lulz.......If I was a mod.....and I know most of my hatrz look forward to my poast....my user name has more views than anyone else on this forum just like my build logs get more views than any other build log....though some that have been there longer have more views...mine get the most.....compared to any from the time poasted...

You see some of the installers at Best Buy or these little brick and mortar shops? That comment doesn't say much...
most of the shops around here have 3-4 installers. one guy knows his **** the others know basic stuff. they go until it gets too complicated then the one guy has to go around finishing the jobs. there are TONS of installers. not very many at all really good ones. I know bob has basic knowledge if for nothing else all of the stuff he has had to look up during our arguments ims ure if he didnt knw it he knows it now.. bnut really most of the installers around here do simple setups in simple prefab boxes. rarely make custom installs/ custom boxes.. i would bet 80% have no clue wat imp rise is if i asked them or even how to figure port area for x size box and x frequency. Im sure bob can give decent advice but its these last things i listed that took me alot fo time money and pissed off effort to learn the hard way and still learning and talking to some of the best in the business to get it down then bob comes trollin in like hes the **** and knows it all and will argue if you correct him even if he is wrong. it ios things like this that have got me off ont he wrong foot. If you were wrong and someone made a good point and you said ya you might be right it would be different but you will argue till the bitter end that you know better. I think you learn more from personal mistakes and testing on a TL for hours and hours and trying this and that then you learn installing simple systems. just my .02. not trying to be a **** just saying what I think however right or wrong it may be.
