i need some amp advice

recently my directed 650 amp blew, so im looking for a good and newer replacement.

i have found some decent options in the hifonics zxi8000 a few alpines, but i was wondering what options you guys could come up with. im only running a front set of comps and a single 12, with 130 and about 250 watts rms, respectively.

my budget is 250 max, as i would buy off ebay or other online stores.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

thanks man, yea i cant find any specs on what pretty much every 4 chan amp runs when bridged to 3 chan mode....can i basically double the output and halve the ohms? i even checked the manufacturer's websites and no one give specs on thier amps running in 3 chan mode

How about a 4ch amp that can be bridged to 100w X 2 and a 2ch amp that can be bridged to 220w X 1 for $165/shipped?

My PPI PCX-480 I just sold was rated at 80x4.... or 80x2 and 320x1 @ 12V.....so it would have been pretty close to 100x2 and 350x1 @ 13.8V.
