ok i build a sealed box for 4 sub 10 inches at 1cf. each. my sub. audiobahn aw1051q 300 rms watts. now i have a pyramid 250 rms x 2 the bass sound ok now but i want more power to move my sub . a have friend runing 4 sub. in a sealed box with a power acoustic 2 channel the bass is loud around $200 for now. but i need some advice w/.power acoustic 1600

Ok, so you have 200bux to spend on an amp. Those Audiobahns have dual 4ohm ratings, which means that hooking up four will give you a 2ohm or 8ohm load. I suggest a mono amp, just makes it much eaiser. And the amp this is right in your price range is the JBL 600.1 @ http://www.ikesound.com which will give you 700watts @ 2ohms (they sold out, so try looking around at other places, dont really know off the top of my head). I wouldnt trust Power Acoustic....

EDIT: Also look into US Acoustics @ http://www.thezeb.com they have all the goodies you need for only 37bux more, free shipping, Subsonic Filter, remote gainn. The SSF is used if you want to port your box later. USX also puts out 700ish watts when your car is on (14.9volts)...

Thank you for your reply. What if I wire in series for 8 ohm load ? Sorry for my newbie questions, but wouldn't it have better sound quality...

Honestly, beyond what you need. It will do the trick for sure, but it is excessive. Not a bad thing, just more than you will ever need. No need...
