Sold I Need Recone Help!!!

I Have A 15" Eclipse Titanium That I...well....kinda Put To Much Power To And Seperated The Voice Coil From The Cone So I Want To Recone It I Want Something Powerfull But Not All That Expensive Also I Would Like To Do It My Self,any Help Is Appreciated.

So I Need Some Info As To What To Recone It With And Where To Buy It And I Need Some Pointers On How To Do It,thanks Again.

get ahold of tcsounds.com for the recone prolly cost between 150-200 shipped. just a guess though thats normal price. theres a whole thread for reconing that has more than enough info u need just search for it, im to lazy to link it for ya so search.

goto subwoofer section, look at "reconing and you with njizm" or something gay like that

note, it doesnt show you having to clean the basket and motor which is a pain in the ass, and although this is just me, i wouldent trust myself reconing a subwoofer, i dont want to **** up a $100-$200 recone and have to go through cleaning the **** again and having to fork out more money...

Yeah, unless you've had a bit of experience, that's a pretty pricey woofer to be playing with. Just go to tcsounds.com, find their phone number, call them up and see what it would cost you to send it in to get reconed.

I checked out tcsounds an i think im just gonna order a 18 inch replacement assembly but i would like to keep it eclipse or upgrade it to a beast! lol, i dont know if anyone can answer this question but can i replace my basket and cone assembly with one from a eclipse titanium pro? mine is a dvc as where the pro is a qvc? i think i should cuz im just using the motor off mine?

i pulled of the magnet boot and found the model# its a 88150ti dvc. if that helps.

Is it a TI? with the quick change(threaded top plate)? if so- i dont know which 18" top you think you are going to put on? (hint- the tc5200 top wont work. wrong size coil) you would be looking at the tc3000 recones.. they dont go to 18" you would need tc to build you one..btw- if it is the quickchange- wanna sell me your old top assy?

someone explain to this guy why my TiPro top won't fit his TI... I tried to explain it uses a 4" vc and his sub is 3" but I don't think he's understanding what I'm trying to say... am I wording it wrong?

my sub uses the 5200 top

I believe you need the tc-3000 top

There's a guy trying to get the regular TI motor. He got the Eclipse Ti Assy(3"vc), not the pro(4vc).

i get it i was misunderstanding i just have the ti not the ti pro,im sending it off to have it reconed by sound extremes,thanks tim. and thanks for everyone else who helped even the ones that busted my balls,lol im not new to car audio just new to reconeing and peicing subs together,im used to blowing them and buying new ones. thanks again.

yeah, that will bolt on as one piece, get some pix of your sub from the side and everyone will know, is it the quick change?

It is the bolt on! The basket bolts to motor. It is not the quick change assembly.
