I need opinions

Alright basically the deal is I just wrecked my car and destroyed my system so I'm looking to get a new one. The good thing about this is the wreck was not my fault and I'm getting a fat insurance check so I was wondering if you people could tell me a good system to put into my new ride. I want to know what cd player to get, what speakers to get, what kind of subwoofer enclosure and amp to get. I'm getting a new Jeep Grand Cherokee so I will have some room to work with. Also I want this system to be banging as hard as possible, but still keeping good sound quality. So lets hear the ideas.

Also, can you install it all yourself, or are you going to need to pay someone to do it all??

Like I said I'm getting a fat check because my car and everything is destroyed, but I'm only planning on spending about $1,400 on a good system, because the rest of the money I want to use to fix up other aspects of my new ride. And yes I can install it myself, all I need to do is get a friend of mine that works at the local audio shop to swipe me some wires and I'm good to go as soon as I found out what subs, amp, and cd player I want.
