I need more power

Yes, we know WHAT he has, but what is the voltage? I have not seen anyone list sh!tty ground in their sig yet....LOL

Please - get a DVM or DMM and check the voltage, its the only way anyone can tell you the issue at hand.

Okay - I see your point. Maybe I need to add that to my signature? You think my main ground being spot-welded to the spare tire mount under my trunk floor qualifies as shitty? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Does having digtal reading on the cap count. Normally runs @ 14.5 but if I really get on um it will go as low as 12.5 and thats when I let off.

A drop of 2vdc when it's cranked isn't terrible with 3kW worth of amplifier.

Edit: Provided the voltometer in the capacitor is accurate. I'd probably still check it at the battery and at the amps with an outboard DMM to be certain.

Which could be as simple as a ground - all those extra battieries - did you add ground to help charge them? With three batteries and a 15F cap, I get the feeling installation is the problem.

I have 2 batteries in the back by the cap each with there own ground less then a foot of wire for each and one battery in engine bay all 3 are the same batteries.

It points us in the right direction, did you ever upgrade the ground wire from the Front battery to chassis?

Does the voltage return above 14V quickly when you let off? Is the 12.5V number only on hard notes or is it a slow constant drop to get to that number?

ok also everthing is set low I have alot more wattage I can give them just not enough power to do so.

what is 3 kw kilowatts

Id say yes it does quickly, when its hitting cranked good it last for a few seconds then goes to 12.5 I never did upgrade the from bat. ground, should I make 0ga would help out

Yes, upgrade that ground - this should help the lights flickering. 4 gauge would be minimum upgrade since it is short, but 1/0 would not hurt since everything else is.

Amp gain is not relevant when talking about power output. You can acheive maximum output with min gain by use of a line driver or other 4V device.

Line driver up about less then 2 volts these amps are unregulated power supply so they will take whatever you can put to them
