ok...simple setup for my daily

07kicker l5 (dual 4)

3ft^3 ported box: 27 sq" of port area, 43fb, 29f3 (audio enhancer's prefab...it was CHEAP)

right now i have an MTX 801d running it...and, it's just not enough. i'm not sure what to step up to...but i need more power. any suggestions?

well you neglected to tell us what size speaker or what kind of power it is seeing so if you post those we can probably help a bit more.

Quickly looking at your amps specs it seems you are either running 400watts @ 4ohms or 800@2ohms. I would say 800 watts wuld be good power for a 10L7 and probably enough to get a 12 L7 moving a good bit.

400 is not enough for any of them, if you are running it @ 4ohms you don't have enuff powah!

price range...i'd like ot keep it fairly cheap, would look at used stuff too... i just know that this mtx amp does NOT move the speaker how i want it to
