I have a 90A alternator and I have 2 amps a 1000 and a 400 and how much improvement would a 150A alternator be? would 150A be enough and if so would it be enough if i throw another 1000 watts in. im worried about cuz my lights dim

i would look at the fuses on the amps them self. add them up, up grade your alternator to have 90amps, " like your current one" plus what ever the amp fuses add up to plus a 10% to 15% of over head.

example. 90 amps of current alternator + lest say 120 on the amps + 10% to 15% of the sum of both of the values for over head.

you cant go wrong that way.
