I need help with my subaru

when we got the car my mom refused to order the subwoofer that you could get with it ( 120w but better than nothing)

now here is the question

even tho the car didnt come with amp/subwoofer is there still the wire for the sound running through the car or was it just not added cause the option was not selected?

please i really need to know this cause the factory headunit is built into the center piece and my mom wont let me take it to a shop and get it cut out and a double din thing put in.

they usually wire everything. but you may have a different HU that doesnt power a sub. or missing an OEM amp

most of the time, car mfr's run the wiring all the same, for cost reasons. the plugs and everything is there for all options, just the componenets aren't installed.

so yes, the wiring will most likely be there. what would you do with it though?

Wait until you take over the car, then do what you want.

But if she still doesn't approve, then it's not the end of the world that you don't have the wiring. All you need is an amplifier with speaker level inputs. Just connect the rear speakers to the inputs on the amp and BWWWAAGGGZZAAASHAZAM you gots bass son!

120W won't be much at all, I'd get something with at least 250W.
