I need help with my he2/700s

please help me...i have 2 rockford he2 subs running off a rockford 700s. its in a standered enclosure, my question is weather or not it would be better in a bandpass box? also i thought it would be much better when i bought them, is there any simple way to make them sound better...i dont know much, thans for the help.

when you say sound better do you mean spl or sq there going to sound the best in a sealed enclosure im thinking thats what you have when you say "standard pre fab" so if you want em to sound any better build your own box you will be alot happier

the install (box...ect) is everything....it can make or break your subs/system....you may want to look into building your own box....try to stay away from and prefab (boxes built by a factory or someone else then sold) boxes because they weren't made for your specific subs and a custom enclosure will be of better quality usually and be a lot cheaper too

post a post in the box construction category and tell them exactly what you have and what you want them to sound like.....spl (loudness) sq (sound quality) sql (mixture of sound quality and loudness)....someone will be able to help you with a design there

they should be here may 20.... im either going to put it in a 3.0 or 3.5 cube box. dont know if im going to go sealed or ported yet going to see what's the best for that sub
