I need help with my amp!

I cannot get the right settings for gain and LPF! I tried so many different times each with different settings and my subwoofers (2 custom 10" in fibreglass case) make weird sounds when there is bass. It sounds like a buzz and not clean, hard bass. I put my LPF to around 80Hz and even lower than that a few times and gain to a "Normal" position that is written on the amp (Pioneer Premier GM-7150M Mono Class D). Most of the bass seems to be coming from my speakers and NOT from the subwoofers!
