i need help with amp

I have a very inexpensive set up with three 10 inch mtx 4000 and the mtx 8302 amp and i would like to know if there is anyway i can get more thump out of my stuff without spending alot of money or maybe by just adjusting my amp or anything that will help

you could build yourself a killer sub box, ported for SPL in mind...

if you don't give a rat's @ss about quality, then get a bandpass box... they sound crappy, but can get VERY loud at certain frequencies...

If a bandpass box is made perfectly to the sub it can actually sound quite good.

i know that bandpass boxes can do that, but its going to be close to impossible to build perfectly....even for an experienced person it would be tough. build a ported box for them...give them as much space as you can.

so the only thing to improve is getting a new box so wich box would be the best for sound quality and spl and how much would it cost having it built

if you built it yourself, it would cost around 60 bucks and a little bit of time also.

have you ever heard one that was custom built for a specific sub or have you only heard the prefab ones u can buy at like best buy or any basic car audio shop?

I've heard both and the prefabbed boxes were worse than the custom built but the customs were still pretty bad. For bandpass they were ok but its a proven fact that bandpass enclosures are for making noise and thats about it.
