Hello All,
I'm having a true 'deperado' situation and need you guys assistance! I bought an entire Sound System for my 2016 Honda Accord and I completely hate how it sounds. The parts that I have are solid and I'm confident something can be done without loosing money... Here my set up:
Original Head Unit
Audio Control LC6i
Focal PS165 Components Front and Rear
JL XD400/4v2 Amp for components
RF P-300 dedicated amp for Sub
JL HO110-W6v3 Ported Sub
The speakers sound horrible, not even flat sound, just way too bright, no mid bass whatsoever, and not pleasant to ears (both sets front & rear). Original speakers used to sound louder when comparing current output at same volume level. I'm sure something can be done with the amp settings in order to have a decent sound. I'm not into competition or rolling windows down to show off in the neighborhood, I just want sound quality for me, but definitely with power. I shipped back the Sub yesterday due to being extremely boomy and not tight at all. Should I get a CS110G-W6v3 or perhaps a CS110G-TW3? Someone is also selling me a discontinued CS110RG-W3 in good shape. Please help me out! I'm frustrated and about to panic with all this... So is it compulsory that I get a DSP, Mosconi 4to6 per say for getting the 'warm sound' I want? Please advise!!! Thank you all in advance!!!
