i need help really fast please

Ok so yesterday i bought ( i already know i got ripped off) a alpine mrp m650 mono amp, boston acoustics g312-44 and a custom box for my lexus is 250.. ( i paid $988)sooo when they are done i get home and take a better look with the trunk open.. the sub was making this insane noise never heard anything like it so i rush back.. they replace the sub... still the same noise... so they tell me to come back in the morning and they will replace the amp and upgrade it for free.. well it still made the noise and they said it was normal.. i disagree.. so i took it to another place that i know is reputable.. he said, "not only did they give me a less powerfull amp, built the box incorrectly, and turned the power all the way up so that even on level 1 and 2 it sounded like it was going to blow the roof off" they also didnt install the controll that i paid for... Right now i am really not sure what to do.. i want my money back and he said he would give it to me.. but at this point they have screwed me over so many times that i am afraid they will mess my car up being careless or intentionally. what do you think i should do.. i love my car its brand new and now i feel like im taking a huge risk letting some guy work on it that is pissed off at me....helppppppp please

Well, wtf do you want us to tell you?

You either take it back and give them their equipment and you get a refund, or you pay someone else to clean up their mess.

ok i just dont know what to do.. i feel like i got myself into something that i cant get myself out of.. he seems to know just what to say to make me lose all confidence in myself and then i just get walked over, i dont want to be a ***** because i dont want to have my car damaged.. and he is installing a security system on my other car....

Tough call. Its always good to have friends who are lawyers. I would take it back and return everything. Then I would take my business to the guy who informed you of the half @ss work.

Where do you live and what shop was it? At the very least you could spare somebody else the pain.

i really dont even know if what i bought was good.. i know nothing about my lexus.. or car audio... my integra is a different story.. but thats simple stuff eveyone knows about honda/acura

Sounds like you need to get your money back, and go someplace that knows what they are doing.

BTW, the Alpine MRP-M650 amp is a very good amp for that sub, I don't know what the other guy was talking about.

yea my friend got screwed at a local shop like that basically your ****ed either way. If i were you i would go tell them to take it out refund and before that take some pics of your car so that if they break something you can call the law on them if they dont pay for the damage and then find somewhere else to get installation or you can learn from your mistake and find out and do ur own installations

i have a personal lawyer.. and my dads girlfriend owns a law firm.. but of coarse they are in fargo north dakota for a wedding...

It was Audio express in scottsdale arizona, they may fool you , tons of super expensive nice cars in front, customers that are personal friends that talk you up... (because their getting things for free) .. i should have known.....dont go there they are horrible.

store credit for $1500? He's a sorry asshat...thats $1500 down the drain...

I would keep it and have someone build me a proper box for that sub and sell the amp, or trade it for one to meet your requirements.

well he did but.. the sub was making the weirdest noise i have ever heard... it was like it was blown.. but it wasnt... and it didnt help that they stuck a 400w amp on there to replace the 1200w amp i paid for...

The guy i had look at it... he used to work at their company.. he didnt even charge me to look at it .. and he spent a good while on it.. because he felt so bad for me... i felt like an idiot
