you probably wired the remote wire to a hot 12v line meaning its always got power going through it when the car is off, and you let that wire hit the chassis, which is what all your electronics are grounded to, and you more than likely shorted out all your electronics or the wires connecting them.

but if youre using the remote wire like that you probably dont have a designated switched 12v like i do, i shorted mine out, so what i do is run a jumper wire from my amps 12v battery- in to my remote- in. i use a 14g wire with a fuse on it incase it does short and wont go through the wire all the way, when you disconnect that wire to turn the amp off, just make sure teh wire doesnt poke through your carpet, wrap it in tape or tuck it between two peices of wood.

Did I fry the whole Electrical then?
Its hard to say, if nothing works it could be the wires, maybe a relay under the hood, or the fuse box under the hood. i would take it to a mechanic just to see whats going on, but other than that like i said its either fuses, wires, or the actual components themselves.
