I need help picking a sub

hey guys i have to pick from 2 12 rockford stage 2 200 watts rms peak 400

or

rockford hx2s rms 500 watts peak 1000

ok now i have a rockford 301m puch amp its 900 watts mono 366 watts rms going into a vette

i can get the hx2s off the net for 260 shipped and the stage 2 at a shop for 250

what would you get. im thinking about the hx2s

Id go with the HX 2s, but your gonna need a bigger amp for them. If you cant get a bigger amp, you might be better goin w/ the stage 2s.

Are you limited to these 2 only?

not really i would like to keep it under 275. i dont really have any thing other in mind. any ideas
