jl w3v2 vs anything else?

ok before i finally go out and buy my w3v2's, is there anything that you would recomend over the the w3's for the same price range, i originally was a step away from buying type-r's untill i heard w3's with just 100w rms going to em. (o and im gettign 3 tens pushing 1000 watts total, my friend thinsk his 3 10's of infinity references 1032w's will be louder than my w3's, he way off isnt he? or is he comparable? sorry off subject question but was curious.)

theres alot of subs thats are comparable......eD k Series,Inciminator audio 187 series,RE RE's,Adire audio Shiva,umm the type r's are pretty close also.Thats all i can think of right now..

Well I think playa1 pretty much had the basses covered on alternatives....

also, I would say if you listened to the W3s and if you dig the way they sound and are happy with the price go for it... Ultimatley, u gotta be happy with them...

stick with them i have 4 running at 500w a piece. they slam pretty hard. i really just need one amp which would do the trick. go for it

ok, how much do you think the w3v2's are? about $190 shipped. The guy was asking about a sub that is better for the same price. So the RE RE series would be a downgrade from a w3v2.

SO...a good comparison of the SAME PRICE would be an RE SE 10".
