I need help in making a system

can i ask , where the **** did u get 7-10 grand plus a 300 C??
i have been saving and joining the service..i already fixed up an accord and still have 35k left over...i bought a 300c for 16k(05 model only 29000 miles)so that leaves me with about 15 grand left over..

Look at Focal amps (off the top of my head), MB quarts/Boston Acustics/Rainbow Components and leave the subs alone W6v2 amd W7 are a nice choice.
You may want to invest in a audiocontrol single processor if you serious about it.

I'll see if I can dig up links to the stuff

BTW, 3 x 15" subs not= SQ in my mind;)
ha any help will seriously bee appreciated..i hear alot of good things about rainbow but i kno more about mb's

Instead of concentrating on what a bunch of people and their opinions are, find a shop, a good shop that can show you in person or make valid and proper decisions for you. Buy all the crap off the net and hope it works the way you want or build a system with a good shop and get a highly predictable outcome. Simple no brainer if you ask me.

Go back to square one, concentrate on some good speakers first, a good source unit, sound deadening, and a sub system that provides balance to the rest of the system. After that it is install that makes the whole thing come alive. A good install is extremely important, shop around for the good install place. That is more than likely where the better products are available as well.

This is the best advice yet.

Ask yourself what the goal is - Good sound or cool equipment.

That's great. What Forbidden is saying is you should make your choices based on first hand experience listening in a shop, not b/c of a company's reputation (or what a bunch of internet yahoos like us say).

There's lots of quality out there. Buying your main speakers based on reputation is maybe the worst decision you can make. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i have had jl audio and kno what there products sound like. but thanks for the advice...i think im going to go wit my original design

I based my opinions n what I have heard and not what I have read on the forums, or in mags. I 100% would go listen to the stuff you have have a local vendor, but remember it will sound different in every setup.

You can go online and buy a set of low end polk audios and not tell teh diefference form high end rainbow components if you don't have the right amp. Same goes subs as well as what you have to suppy the amp.

I have a pioneer 880prs and an Alpine 1915 both are high quality.

the equivanelts and also eclise are great. But, all will need some fine tuning to be great.
