Hello, I am currently in the middle of a build. I just got a great deal on 3 12" Pioneer champion series sub woofers, I believe they are 600 w RMS subs, so I was trying to find an amp to give them almost 600 watts at 2.7 ohms. I found the Soundstream PA1.6000D and if my math is correct each sub should get about 540 watts at 2.7 ohms which is the best i could find so far. But I then looked at how many fuses it has (3) and each fuse is 120 amps. Now I'm at a loss as this would be the best (for price and performance) I can find to power the subs but I dont know if I can just go with a 300 amp fuse at the battery, or if i need to go with something more than 360? What do I do. I plan on going 0 AWG wire and with 0 AWG I'm pretty sure the max they can put out is 300 amps so if I throw a 400 amp fuse on there I have the chance of shorting it right? So what do I do? Please help!
