hey guys i wanted to buy this sub and its out of stock and im not sure if there gona get them back in order.DISCONTINUED Dayton SD215-88 8" Shielded DVC Subwoofer | Parts-Express.com . my box i just built is tune to 30 hz, i want a sub that i can wire to at least 4 ohms and have a good xmax and b able to play lower notes well. i could go up to the next dayton sub that is close to the cheapo sub i was gona get. tbh i kinda want a sub that can handle at least 200-300rms . if u guys can think of some subs please let me know. lets keep it under 70.00 please the lower the better thanks.

well its not gona b in my car i just wanted to build a box and use the wood i have. im not looking to have this in my car its gona go in my room. the box is sub up single slot port tune to 30 hz. that re sub looks good for like 40 bucks. my box is gona b .6 kinda on the bigger side i would like to send 200rms at first then it will see some low power in my room.

will they work with a box that is tune low? its kinda hard to find a sub that is chap but will do well in the box i have built. i dont wana throw a 20.00 sub in there but i have to say it will only see like 10min or so in my car .what about that re sub ?

I dont see it being too big of adeal if u watch the power... But if ur box is only .6 be careful lol it calls for 1cuft @35...

can u think of another sub that will work out well? there is that dayton sub that is like 27.00 but they charge like 11.00 to ship it i think thats kinda crazy for such a small sub to b shipped.

it will b .6 after sub displacment and that is allso factoring the slot port as well.

SSA Store - Sundown Audio SA-8 Subwoofer, from the top of the wood down to the bottom of the box is like 7.5 is that enough room for a sa-8?i think the box plan kinda called for that cheapo dayton 8, the dayton is like 4 inchs mounting dept.

im gona bump this to see if the re sub would do well in my box that is tune to 30 hz the box is .6 after sub and port. if u guys have any othere links to some cheapo subs please post them up. i have my carpet on its way to get this goin
