As a forum filled with was seems to be young to middle aged men, I need help deciding on what car to buy. I am 18 years old, and going to college next yr. I need a car soon cause driving my dads f250 at 8mpgs isnt the greatest thing to do for my money situation.

I want a manual transmission car. No automatics.

I prefer 2dr. but maybe a 4dr would do depending.

Have about 6g's to work with as of now.

I am at a loss on what to get! I was looking for camaros, which would be a dream car for me, but insurance is out of the question being an 18 yr old male with 2 points on my license. I want something thats not another car on the road. Parents are saying some cheap civic or accord but every other car on the road is one of them/something like it.

What do you have? Recommend?

2002-2003 Saab 93 linear turbo. Can probably get one with about 60-70k for near your price range.

Unfortunately asking for a coupe cuts down on about 85% of the possibly options for 6k. I know how you feel though I like coupes better myself I can give a shit less how hard it is for passengers to get in and out of it just means less people asking me for a ride //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah, the coupe and the stick is what is killing me. Esp. the stick. I guess noone around knows how to drive one cause everything is automatic. It sucks.

All coupes and available in a manual transmission. Can also be had for the budget you are working with .

I would put that 6k down on a toyota yaris. My buddy bought one for like 12.5k out the door. Your going to want a part time job anyways, and your payments would be like $180 a month and toyota is really low APR currently. That car will last many years after you are down with school as well.
