I am doing a little research and I am looking for your opinions with these questions: 

1. Do you compete? If NO why? I used to, I lost interest and started playing paintball competitively, and if you win playing paintball you get medas + CASH!!! which makes it alot more appealing

 

2. What would make it worth your time to start competing? Cash Prizes

 

3. What would you like to see in a show? ie:show cars, manufacturers, contests. Cash Prizes/High participation/Lots of Vendors

 

4. If you werent competing would you attend and support a local show if you knew about it? Always Have

 

5. Any suggestions on how to increase interest in our hobby? In case you haven't figured it out, Cash Prizes. Paintball is a much more expensive hobby, but with the cash prizes I can actually make money going to a tournament

 

6. How much would you be willing to spend to enter a show? Depends on the quality of the show, I have paid over $100 for a indoor show.

 

7. Would a plaque, trophy, or peice of paper be better as an award? I have a closet full of trophies/plaques so After a while it just kinda gets old. A medal suffices fine. Cash Prizes are better than a trophy anyday

aside from the spl competition, I like to see other events like woofer throwing.

I'm rebuilding now but still go to shows in my area

keep an org sticker on your car, I have USACi, DD, and IncriminatorAudio on mine.

I spend $20 regularly.

trophy + cash would be best IMO.

1. No, I usually don't have weekends off, therefore i can't go to weekend shows/comps

2. Cash prizes, trophies worth a sh*t

3. Car/truck show, manufacturers giving away sh*t

4. Yes, I do that when im not working now anyways.

6. to enter a show, max $20, to compete MAX $50 total (not that $20 per event/run shit)

7. Plaque, trophy, piece of paper, and a CASH PRIZE ( I can't keep competing and upgrading if I dont earn a cash prize and i pay outrages prices to enter the events)

I've seen a lot of shows that are at places that are not charging the host's "rent" to have the show there, so with everyone paying $50 to compete, and having 50+ people, thats $2,500 and NO cash prizes... WTF! It doesnt cost near that much to put on one of these events if your not paying rent for the place its at. Trophies are cheap

No.....I tune too low for high numbers

2. What would make it worth your time to start competing?

Cash/ certificates for better equipment

3. What would you like to see in a show? ie:show cars, manufacturers, contests.

manufactures demo vehicles, bikini girls, woofer cookin!

4. If you werent competing would you attend and support a local show if you knew about it?

I do it from time to time to hear brands not locally sold

5. Any suggestions on how to increase interest in our hobby?

More classes - self built, low budget, low tuning.....could get more people out that dont have the money but love the hobby

7. Would a plaque, trophy, or peice of paper be better as an award? nothing beats cash
