I Need Clever Creative Audio Ideas

Who has a creative theory to help me bring this idea to life?

I want my car speakers to play an audio sound when I...

a.)start the ignition, or

b.)turn on the radio. Kind of like a startup sound on a phone or computer.

To have it play a sound when starting the ignition i think is impossible since there will be no power UNTIL the key is turned and even than takes a while to power up, UNLESS you have constant power somehow but than your car would always be dead.. lol maybe im wrong tho.

Maybe install a small speaker powered by a small amp thats always connected

some new cars do what your saying, turning on the car while the radio is playing

i dont know how to do it but i know its possible

.. but not likely that youll be able to do it in your car

i think its basicly a switch thats triggered by the key actualy being in the ignition not having to turn it

I think you guys are misunderstanding him.

He is looking for the car to play a certain sound whenever it is turned on. Like, tunr the key to the ignition position, and while the radio turns on it plays a startup sound like when you start windows XP, and a metro PCS phone and it says "Hello hello hello".

Theres a keysense wire on most key cylinders and you could have something trigger off that.

Your not going to kill your electrical if your stereo turns on 2 seconds before you start the car.

I agree but the way i interpreted it, was that he wanted to be able to turn on the radio without starting the car, I'm assuming if this is the goal, he's looking to do it for more than 2 seconds
