Shop online... I don't think you'll find to many shops that will have a good amp like that in your price range. Unless you want to rock a Legacy or a Pyle or something gay like that.

im thinking about just underpowering them and get a nice amp like the aq1200.1

any thoughts on that?

If your subs are dual 2 ohm voice coiled than you would need an amp that wiil do 1000 RMS at 2 ohms. Or if that AQ amp might be able to go down to 0.5 ohms you could try that, but I'm pretty sure it will only do 1 ohm (don't quote me on that). I read about people wiring their subs to lower ohm loads than amps are rated for and they get away with it, but personally I'm not an AQ expert and i wouldn't risk it.

if theyre 4-ohms i need an amp that does 1000wats rms at 4-ohms right?

i didnt order them tongiht since someone did a credit fraud on my card, will oder them tommorrow still deciding on 2ohm or 4ohm

if they're dual 2 then you can wire it down to 1ohm, don't have to wire it to 4

If your subs are 4 ohms you can wire them down to 2 ohms, if they're dual 4 ohm then you can wire them down to one ohm.

the type Rs take a lot of power to run so you have to spend a little bite of money on a amp i have the type Rs my self i have the p1000 rockford that would be my suggestion for you i pushes them great they will run you a little over $600

wire down to a 1 ohm load

my rd1000.1 will push them nicely.
