I need amp suggestions

I have 2 ED 3.6 subs and i need to figure out what amp i should run.

I havent decided if its better to run as a single 2ohm setup or a dual 4 ohm. I figure it doesnt really matter. I was to run 300w between the two so i need a suggestion on what amp to run. I was looking at kenwood and kicker, but im very open but i want to stay in the $100+- range. They will be in a sealed box.

That kenwood is only going to give you around 300watts rms TOTAL power.

You could get this:

Which will give you around 500watts rms

Honestly, it's going to be VERY hard to find an amp at $100 that's good...Unless you might be able to find something here in the classifieds.

Are you looking for 300watts rms total or 300watts rms for each sub?

300W total, 150w each, the subs are rated to 300 max each. and ideal 125-200. Im not looking for this thing to hit real hard, im more concerned about quality

Well then either of the amps posted probably are good enough for you. Kenwood and Soundstream are both great companies...Kenwood tends to overrate their products, but they always run solid and cool. The Kenwood would get you around 300rms and the Soundstream will get you around 500rms.

IMO, you'll be happy with either of 'em.

OP, what was your decision if any on the e3.6, I'm thinking of something similar but have a Profile HA600 BAJA coming, 100x2 rms, a bit below the "ideal power" but the amp's footprint fits my space w/o any cutting I hope.
