I need a sunday favor

i need someone to do me a quick favor. im at work so i can only go to web sites the administrator will allow me...

i have a 95 dodge spirit. 2.3 lt 4cyl engine

im here changeing my oil im pretty sure it takes 4.5-5 qt's motor oil. i forgot to ask the dude at auto zone.

can someone look up how many qt's my vehicle takes....

Just buy a box. You're going to need to do another oil change eventually.

He might as well buy a box of bleach to flush out all the impurities as well. Pour the bleach in and crank it up for a good 5 min. Drain the bleach, and proceed with the oil change. I believe the mythbusters had an episode on this and the wonders bleach works on a car engine. Much improved gas mileage iirc.

I was being completely serious, thats what seems logical to me. A box can't be that much more.

Heres an idea. Pour in 4 quarts. Check it. Add more as needed. tada.

Do you not have the owners manual still?

And i'm not sure what you're getting at, if you put oil in the car without the filter its just going to spill out.
