im not sure i what subs i want to get. i have been back and fourth trying the figure out the best setup. i currently have 2-15" L7's powered by a zx2500. im getting god numbers but i want it to be to the point where when ever its too loud for me, it will get just a tad bit more louder. i currently listenen to my music on a daily basis around 147-150 daily. i want it around 155 daily.

ok so here are the choices ive been stuck on. 2-15" RE MX sealed, 2-dd9512's vented of course, 4-10" HDC3 if possible. feel free to give me some other choices. i want it to be very freakn loud but have ateast better sq than the L7's. this is how they will be powered depending on my choice.

RE MX 15's- zx1500 each

dd9512's- zx2500 each

HDC3- zx2500 each pair

thanx

I was about to say.

That does not sound like SQ, or "sql" to me, at all.

150's daily? Christ.

If you are looking for "sql" I would definitely say Stereo Integrity Mag's, but from the sound of it, you are looking for straight SPL.

Are you talking about going 155 decibels, not around these forums much but i assume with noise that is what you mean. I just thought that was odd since the human ear gets damage around 80, and 140 is an air raid siren.

maybe he listens to air raid sirens..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I appreciate the mention of a pair of Mag's, but neither the Mag's nor the Q's nor the RL-P's are going to be able to do 155's daily. Well...not when listening to music. In a fart-box, maybe. 155 is just nuts.

I'm with Jim and SHO - there is no SQ in 155. At all. You're after an SPL sub, not an SQL sub...and you're looking at upgrading your vehicles suspension, wiring, alts, brackets, batteries, and trying to make a front stage to keep up (count on LOTS of components or installing PA mids/highs).

Good luck.

you are not listening to your music at 147-150 dbs right now. i will guarantee you that. even if your system could do those numbers, which i strongly doubt, you won't be able to handle it.

anyways out of the suggestions given by these guys, i like the 2 mag or 2 sound splinter rl-p setup.
