$120 isnt that high for a box, its not its a friend doing it for you. A shop would probably cost more.

No thanks...that's a 6 hour round trip.

Unless I get any good offers tonight..I'm going to order the box from Dimension Audio....it's about as nice as it gets for less than $100 shipped.

shit i got my 4 cube ported box for 80 by a local guy. 120 for a that box is high in my opinion.

oh well...if its high and you got your box cheaper somewhere else...then good job...you found a deal..hope everything was sealed and built to spec thats all i say..i know when i want boxes built where to go....i dont post on here asking for someone to build my box and then complain about the prices i'm getting...seems like a lowballer i got this price here can anyone beat it...NO! they gave you a price use them.

This is by no means a flame, so don't take this the wrong way. But a 1.5 cu ft. box would only require like 1/2 of a 4'X8' sheet of MDF. Lets assume it uses the whole thing. Ok thats 30 bucks in wood, 10 bucks for some terminals, 10 bucks for 2 yds of carpet and another 10 bucks for the spray on adhesive. 60 bucks net. So double that @ 120 seems a bit steep, it's not even including shipping, that involves him driving to come get it. Sorry is this is offensive, just tellin it like it is.

i got people who charge materials x2 for a box...so if its 30 for all materials its 60..but if materials comes out to 60 then its 120....just how it is.....
