I need 6 1/2 comps for front !!??

^^ I need reccommendations for component 6.5" in the front ... I will be running a 18" Fi Q with these speakers so I would like my speakers to be more for clarity instead of bass oriented.. I wouldn't mind if they had hardly any bass b/c I will be getting more than enough bump from my Q.

I would like to spend around $150 for them!~

Also, if I just got comps in the front and left my stock rears. will it still sound good? I was thinking of just getting a 2 channel amp and 2 nice comps and forget about switching the rears.

Just ditch the rears altogether, concentrate on making your fronts scream. It'll sound better with your 18.

I need to get some comps and amp for under $200... What do you mean by ditch the rears altogether? Like totally remove them from the car? I have dash speakers too so ... I can't just switch out the fronts and leave the other stock speakers in?

Yeah man, you don't have to remove the rears from the car, just unhook them.....or if you wanted, you could run them off of head unit power alone...but it'll sound better if you just have the components amped up in the front, by themselves.

If you want just a simple, 2 way component set up front, then yeah, just the components. Disconnect the dash speakers, too.

You're gonna have a hard time finding a decent amp with power AND a decent set of comps for $200 that can keep up with that 18, brother. You're gonna want at LEAST 200w a side on tap, or maybe a little more for a component set.
