I need 4000 watts

I am going to be getting a second SX soon. I want to run 2000 watts to each of them and wanted to know of the cheapest way of getting 4000 watts of good power at 14 volts if possible. 1, 2, or more amps is fine as long as it is cheap. I was looking at the MA HK4000D. Is there anything cheaper that would put out good power.

Not much as cheap as the HK. But on 14V and you'll probably be at 2ohm with 2 SX subs. So only 3200 watts.

A autotek 4000 is 4000 at 2ohm and 14V. Can find em refurbed for less than 500.

I think Lilmanaic still has a Autotek 3000 left for sale....it would be pretty good at 2ohm and its strappable if u decide to get another one.....i think the MA only does rated power when its ran on higher voltage and lower imp.....good luck

x2 also hk's pull a lot of current so u will not get full power at 14v, old ma synergy amps go to 0.5 but are difficult to find

HK's are VERY current hungry, you better have a lot of electrical to back one up.

But as far as cheap power goes, the MA/hifonics are probably your best bet.

Ok the MA, Colossus, and the Autotek are all arount the same price used give or take. Which puts out more clean power at 2 ohms.

i have a mm 3000.1 that MAY run @ .5 on a good electrical, but i wouldnt recommend it. 2 ohms it would be more than enough for your subs. also @ 535+ shipping it wont break the bank. PM me if ur interested its Like New

accurate tests posted on this forum have shown that the orion 2500d > the HK4000D

for the money you're sacrficing alot of quality. save ur money man. trust me, save up some dough and be ready to drop 500-600 bucks. i you u can get an autotek for under 500 like mentioned hatd be a preeeeeettttty nice in deal IMO. those are nice amps. make sure u beef up your electrical man.
