I had Sergey of KBaudio.com bench my Powerbass XA3000d. He was impressed on the design and layout of the board, and how much smaller it is compared to most amps of similiar power. This amp does not resemble any board me or him had ever seen, so maybe the board design is unique.
At 12.3volts using a 1ohm constant load, it did over 2700w.
He was unable to keep his powersupply at 14.4, but estimated it to be over 3400w at 1ohm. There was no testing done under 1ohm, but they will burp at .7 for sure.

yeah I can confirm the 2700 only because sergey called me and my colossus just got there. it was sick but she'll be back in a week or so. he said she'll only take an hour to fix. he also said the XA 3000 draw was like 440amps I think. Not certain, not too shabby. But he was using a resistor so thats gonna be hard to match in a car with subs. You need to hit 1ohm after imp rise. So .7ohms ain't likely, you'd have to run it at least .35ohms and only have a .35ohm rise. which will almost NEVER happen. 1ohm will be hard enough. nice amp though. I'll get back with info on what the colossus GenXX benched at.
How much will these cost and will they be strappable? He also told me there'd be gains at 14.4v but he didn't say 3400....
EDIT: He said his power supply is donig 440amps, and I believe the amp drew under 300. Sorry for the mistake.
