Cuz my 4hp doesn't seem as loud as it originally was. But it's gotta be! Nothing has changed at all in the set up. Plenty of people have said it's the loudest sub they've ever heard. The thing even broke some piece in my trunk door and it won't come unlatched now lol.

So does this happen to anyone else periodically? Where no matter how loud your subs are they just don't seem as loud anymore?

What could be a remedy to this problem other then buying more equipment?

I was thinking of dropping my amp down to half an ohm, but I've smelled glue burning on the sub at 1 ohm after playing it for a while at full tilt and I don't want to ruin any of my investements whether it be my amp or sub you know?

you just get used to it....nothing has changed, just turn it down for a few days and then blast it again....it will be loud.

Yeah quad 1.1 coils. I didn't know I could wire it to .5 either until Thilo told me. I don't remember how to do it though. If I decide to do it I'll have to call him and I'll post up on how it works.
