first i'll start off by saying this is the first time i have ever worked with fiberglass in my life. i didn't glass far enough around the edges so that's why it didn't turn out so great. i just used some cloth to cover it. when i screwed in the speaker it pulled some of the cloth off. all in all it seems ok and just sound good. this summer i'll probably make a new one

i basically ran him through the entire process.

again, it was his first fiberglassing ever. so i think that it actually got completed, that is pretty **** respectable.

i'll give u mad respect for trying and starting your first fiberglass project but looking at it made me laugh.. especially when it took a while for the pic to load... lol

what i did wrong was when i pulled the fleece onto the door panel, i didn't glass it far enough out and i didn't want to ditch the project so i continued thinking i could make it better. what makes it look bad is all the material wrinkeled and pulled off when i mounted the speaker. i'm sure the next one will be better. as far as aiming i know it isn't the best, but it's hard to explain why i did it that way. it sticks out too far if i tilt it towards the seat. i would have to build out because the magnet is huge. as long as it sounds good that's all that matters at this point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I just finished my first fiberglass project last week. I was very happy with the way it came out, but I did take my time on it. Now that you've gotten all of the basics out of the way, your next one should turn out a lot nicer!
