I love computers

Yeah, definitely. SSD technology (in terms of a HD big enough for every day use) isn't really that advanced yet. Give it a few years and it'll surpass SATA. However, I would trust an SSD as an external HD. But for everyday use, files are constantly being saved, deleted, moved, shared, etc. SSDs just aren't cut out for that... yet.
And Online file sharing is a great idea I never thought about. Kudos //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
It's not sharing. It's private online storage. Basically using storage on your school's (or whoever provides the service) server. Only you can access it (well, so can tech support if you need them to).

you two need a room, compare computers while holding hands?
Lol, I'm just running a plain ole dell lappy. nothing special. But I had 4 motherboards go out on me with my last comp, and the first couple of times I thought it was the HDD, so I made sure I got my backup situation taken care of. Also had an HDD burn out on my parents' last comp.

That's what I meant. I don't know why I said sharing.

Only if you'll join us, and I can cup your balls.

hey Tommyk, since you are a FIB, as am I, I will cut an awesome deal on just what you need. PP me $10 shipped and you can have the nifty little device that goes into a drive bay slot and has a lock on it to turn it on and off and remove it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I don't use it anymore as I don't have a GF living with me so no need to hide **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Anyhow, this is a drive enclosure that goes in the 5.25 drive bay. There is a display on it for temp and such. You can lock it so it's off and unlock to open it and remove/replace drive.

If your interested, PM me.
