Lately my lights have been dimming a lot when I turn my system up and I'm curious whether it's an alternator problem, my battery is dieing, or simply I need to upgrade everything. System is in sig, 120A remanufactured Bosch alternator I believe so. It never used to really dim, it hardly did but now it's to the point where I'm scared to turn it up? any help? big 3 would help maybe? what do you think?

big three definately a must. i would say go get your battery tested, at like autozone. you should have the big three done by now though. start doing it already.....alright well now i think that you should proly get an alternator upgrade, because your alt. is having a hard time keeping two battery's charged then it would just one. i say go with big three, then when you get the cash. upgrade your alternator

ok I switched my Optima to the front and Deka to the back, now my car starts a lot better and there isn't any dimming at all. I'm going to buy some 1/0 gauge wire soon and do the big 3 anyways. but just wanted to let yall know I switched it and it works 1000% better

glad to hear! big three will be good for you once its done. and if you notice any more dimming or voltage problems, i would up the alt. but glad to hear your doing better.
