I know most of you have probably done this so help out ...

Thanks for the songs guys... got a **** good cd made for her...

I'ma tell you though, though you want like country/rock stuff (not the stuff I listen to), the type of music for this cause that has a better effect is old (throwback) familiar music. For example, since we're in 2005, if you would throw on some Jodeci, some 12 Play R.Kelly, H-Town, Guy, or some old Donell Jones (who were prominent in the 90s)...that's where you get the "I love that song!" response. You throw on something she's never heard and it's like, "This is a good song" and that's pretty much it. She may even know the words to the old song, may like the artist and have followed him/her, etc. A new song / new artist, you may have just introduced her to her new favorite, but that's it. The old song brings back memories.
Im makin new memories for her //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

but of course ya gotta have the old ones she loves and remembers... balance in everything is key //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On

Luther Vandross - Here and Now

Teddy Pendergrass - Close The Door

Crowded House - Don't Dream It's Over

Edwin McCain - I'll Be

Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight

Firehouse - Love of a Lifetime

Foreigner - Waiting for a Girl Like You

Those are old school but what do you expect from someone that is old.??

Oh I almost forgot another one................Bullet Boys - Smooth up in Ya. LOL j/k

OK, since now we're gettin' into soul/r&b (which is 50% of the music I listen to...aside from the 20% r&b, 15% funk, 10% rap, 5% other)....

Al Green - Simply Beautiful

Al hudson & Oneway - Something in the Past

Alicia Myers (Oneway) - If You Play Your Cards Right

Atlantic Starr - Love Me Down

AWB (Average White Band) - Just Wanna Love You Tonight, Cloudy, A Love of Your Own

Barry White - Nevery Gonna Give You Up, Love's Serenade

^ Other instrumentals by Barry White & the Love Unlimited Orchestra (like Midnight and You, Baby Blues)

Bloodstone - Natural High (the album)

Brighter Side of Darkness - Love Jones (the album...rare as hell, but yo tengo!)

I don't feel like goin through everything now. That was just a little bit. Don't even get me started with 60s R&B.
