Guess you think your a genius. I had voltage drops years ago when I had a 25 farad cap and a stock alt, all good 0/1 ga wiring and a stock battery. I added a Yellow top under the hood, dropped the cap and did the Big 3 and never had another problem with voltage drops. So what I said was from experience, not just some random thought. And if you noticed what I wrote, I said it would solve "MOST" of his voltage problems, not all of them. Yeah, a HO Alt is the way to go. But getting a real battery and doing the Big 3 are the right steps to take before he dumps $250-500 on a HO Alt. And by a real battery I'm not talking about going to Sears and buying some DieHard or Interstate lead acid type battery. A good battery like a Kinetik or another AGM battery is the way to go.
