Job#1...screwing subfloors in new construction....don't get paid hourly, but $20 a floor for anything under 2,200 Sq. Feet, and $50 for anything bigger...

Job#2...moving furniture for my mom's company...$10 an hour

Job#3...runner at the charlotte fire department union hall...$16 an hour to take out trash and clean tables...

It all depends on what you make over the last 3 years before retirement...

I don't know the details, but I did a retirement computation through USAA a couple of weeks ago and with my TSP and retirement, I'll be making a the same as a full paycheck when I retire... I'll get a 50% payraise when I hit social security at 65...

I was a nuke em on subs, got out 11 years ago, making more than you and actually have a life 365 days/year.

i had no idea the military paid so well.

anywho...i'm a roughneck in the northern new mexico oilfield. i'm paid 15.60/hr and grossed $51k last year. my ytd was $9300 on feb 11th of this year, so, with payraises and bonuses, i'm expecting somewhere around 70k - 80 by the end of this year.

Im making $14/hr for my first 90 days, then it goes to $15. Im a delivery/installer for a company contracted through GM and Toyota to install and deliver add-on items, such as rims,running boards, tonneau covers, vent and hood visors, bed lines, head rest and flip down dvd's, dash kits, exhaust ect...

I LOVE the job, althought its LOTS of driving (been avg. around 1800 miles a week the first 3 weeks)

Oh yeah, tons of overtime too, witch accures and then i get a seperate check at the month with any profit sharing and all my overtime. I think im up to around 18-20 hours of overtime

5.75 - police dispatcher in the winter/fall

6.00 - life guard

sucks but 16 year olds always get the shit jobs..i turn 17 this april.hoping to get some kind of construction job this summer
